Welcome

Dear Patients and Referring Physicians,

South Austin Rehab and Wound Clinic will be CLOSING, effective January 13th, 2012, due to a merging of its owners with Texas Orthopedics, Sports and Rehabilitation Associates. Dr. Blais, Dr. Race, Dr. Savage, and Dr. Westmoreland will be closing the South Austin Orthopedic Group office at the end of December and relocating to Texas Orthopedics. Barton Creek location on January 2, 2012.

Texas Orthopedics will acquire the rehabilitation facility starting in January and will continue to offer physical and occupational therapy services. If you are a current patient, we will continue to see you through your plan of care. Your therapist will discuss options with you if your physical or occupational therapy treatment needs to continue past the first of the year. It is our goal for this change to have the smallest impact possible on your current plan of care and rehabilitation.

As South Austin Rehab & Wound Clinic merges with Texas Orthopedics, the clinic will accept new patients exclusively from the doctors at South Austin Orthopedic Group and Texas Orthopedics. For billing purposes, the new clinic will not see patients from outside of its doctor group (South Austin Orthopedic Group/Texas Orthopedics).

Texas Orthopedics plans to continue with the community IWEP program. We will continue to keep you updated as we learn more.

We thank you for all your business. It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you and the community for its rehabilitation and wellness needs.

Sincerely,

Deborah Landreth
Practice Administrator, Doctorate of Physical Therapy
